Japanese Harimi Dustpan and Hand Brooms
The harimi dustpan is made of thick layers of paper. the surface of which is coated with persimmon tannin, a natural paint that provides some water resistance. Unlike plastic dustpans no static electricity is generated, making for easy use.
Japanese craftsmen have been producing beautiful handmade grass brooms for hundreds of years. These small brooms accented with red binding are woven from high quality grass making it supple and easy to use. For added strength the top edge is fitted with a durable frame made from bamboo. Broom and dust pan are sold separately.
